Terms of Service

SNAP IT is a free-item reuse platform, not a marketplace. Items listed on SNAP IT are always NT$0 — givers never sell anything and recipients never buy the item itself. When delivery is chosen instead of free local pickup, the recipient pays only the delivery cost shown at checkout, which is never a price for the item.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login details secure. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by contacting us.

Listings must be honest about condition and must never include anything on our Prohibited Items list. Members agree to treat each other respectfully, avoid harassment or fraud, and follow our Community Guidelines when messaging, meeting for pickup, or coordinating delivery.

Claiming an item reserves it for the recipient. Givers and recipients are both responsible for showing up to agreed pickups or shipping items promptly. SNAP IT is not a party to the physical exchange and is not responsible for the condition of items exchanged, though we do provide reporting and review tools to help keep the community trustworthy.

Any payment collected through SNAP IT is strictly for delivery and related handling — never for the item. Payments are processed through our secure, PCI-compliant payment provider; SNAP IT does not store your card details. Delivery charges shown at checkout include the courier's cost plus SNAP IT's service and handling fee.

Items are given and received between individual members, and SNAP IT does not inspect, own, or guarantee any item. SNAP IT provides the platform on an 'as is' basis and, to the extent permitted by law, is not liable for damages arising from exchanges between members, service interruptions, or third-party carrier or payment failures.

We may update these terms as SNAP IT grows. When we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use SNAP IT after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
